When you are looking for something different and you really feel the need of experimentation, you very quickly find a problem: The commercial tools are designed for commercial purposes and doesn't work for you because the experimental artist needs research. These workshops are an easy and friendly way to learn how to build your own sound generators at very low cost (money and time). The main objective is to stop the myth "electronics are difficult and only for people who study a lot". They are absolutely practical and the people work from the first moment in a real project, having - when the workshop is done - a self-made sound generator in his hands and enough knowledge to follow his own way. I also want show realist alternatives to commercial devices, trying to take advantage of some resources of sound recycling.
